Macmillan
Funded by Macmillan Cancer Support, we offer a free, confidential advice to people living with cancer, their carers and relatives. We can advise on a range of issues including benefit entitlement, help with claims and Macmillan grants.
Pension Wise
We are one of 50 Pension Wise delivery centres providing face to face guidance across 500 locations in England and Wales which will help people to make sense of their pension choices.
Money & Debt Advice
We have a number of funded projects to provide information, advice or casework for people who are experience difficulties managing their money or dealing with debt.
MS Access to Advice
Funded by the Taunton MS Society group, this advice service exists to ensure that anyone affected by Multiple Sclerosis can easily access advice about any topic area including: benefits, debt, housing, employment, family, consumer, discrimination and more.
Litigants in Person
The Litigants in Person service exists to help people who have experienced domestic abuse but are not able to get Legal Aid, to secure the court orders they need to provide protection for themselves and their children or to obtain financial orders.
Open Mental Health
Open Mental Health is a Somerset alliance of local voluntary organisations and the NHS. We are working in partnership to ensure that adults in Somerset get the support they need, when they need it. Our shared ambition is to ensure that people living with mental health problems get the right support at the right time.
One Team
We are members of a multi-disciplinary team who support those in the deprived areas of Taunton, and Wellington. Debt and money advice is provided to clients as casework, and clients can also drop in at outreaches in Halcon, Priorswood and Wellington.
Homelessness Reduction Debt Help
Funded by SWTC this service aims to help those threatened with homelessness or already homeless who have financial difficulties. Debt advice, budgeting skills and assistance in raising income is provided.
